Georgina Bazil

Georgina is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania with over 7 years’ experience in Commercial litigation, Employment Litigation, Immigration Law, Corporate Law and Real Estate Law.

Georgina regularly appears in different hierarchy of the courts in Tanzania on behalf of Banks, private clients and corporate entities. Some of the clients include but not limited to Amana Bank, CRDB Bank PLC, Institute of Social Work, Security Group, Ghome Secondary & Moshi Cooperative University. She regularly draws pleadings, submissions, and other court documents on behalf of clients to be filed in different courts and tribunals. She is also very good at negotiations and out of court settlements. She has appeared in different tribunals such as the CMA & TCAA on behalf of clients.

Georgina is regularly involved in land transactions including acquisitions, leases and mortgages and she is at the centre of facilitating issuance of work and resident permits for foreign clients. Defending rejected applications.

Georgina is an expert in Labour related litigation at the CMA and High Court Labour Division

She advices on Compliance and regulatory advisory, Commercial and corporate law, matrimonial Law- Separation Agreements, representation in Divorce proceedings, drafting of child maintenance and spousal support settlement agreement.
